Black River Fishing Charters
Our river charters are tailored for the anglers who prefer the "cast & retrieve" over a "slow troll". Although we do at times troll certain areas of the river, there are many deep pools, undercuts, current breaks and structure pilings throughout this river system where anglers can cast both live and artificial lures in pursuit of various types of freshwater fish. While the river fishing offers variety for open minded anglers, we can target a specific species if you so choose.
These charters begin in May, and continue through September. The common fish species found in these waters are Walleye, Northern Pike, Pickerel, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and a variety of Panfish. 4 Hour and 6 Hour trips are available. Anglers may choose to target a specific species, or a variety. Our river boats can accommodate a maximum party of 3, and our river guides know what areas of the river hold fish, and what diet these fish prefer! All necessary live bait is provided for these charters if needed at no additional cost. Please contact Capt Ben Roggie for pricing and availability. |
