Black River Charters Indian River Chain Lakes Charters
Our river charters are tailored for the anglers who prefer the "cast & retrieve" over a "slow troll". Although we do at times troll certain areas of the river, there are many deep pools, undercuts, current breaks and structure pilings throughout this river system where anglers can cast both live and artificial lures in pursuit of various types of freshwater fish. While the river fishing offers variety, we will usually target one or two specific species of fish when fishing the lakes.
These charters begin in May, and continue through summer and into September. The common fish species found in these waters are Walleye, Northern Pike, Pickerel, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and a variety of Panfish. 4 Hour and 6 Hour trips are available. Anglers may choose to target a specific species, or a variety. Our river boats can accommodate a maximum party of 3, and our river guides know what areas of the river hold fish, and what these fish prefer for a diet! All necessary live bait is provided for these charters. Please contact Capt Ben Roggie for pricing and availability.
What Our Clients Are Saying
"Had a fishing charter the first week in June. The trip was fantastic! Capt Ben was extremely accommodating, and allowed us to customize the trip, target the fish we wanted. Showed us lots of tips and techniques for up here in the north country, which was probably worth the trip alone! Excellent trip! - Nick Brandenburg, Ft Drum NY
